Next 100 Coalition Makes Its Outdoor Retailer Debut

email

Denver, CO — Next week, as Denver hosts Outdoor Retailer for the first time, the Next 100 Coalition is making its Outdoor Retailer debut.

In partnership with Brooklyn Boulders, the Coalition is kicking off the weekend with a reception on the evening of Thursday, January 25. Featuring bouldering, networking with Next 100 Coalition members, local craft beer, and food trucks, the event will be held in the heart of RiNo at Brooklyn Boulders’ headquarters. Learn more and RSVP on the event web page.

On Friday, January 26, the Coalition will also be offering two workshops at venues adjacent to Outdoor Retailer, in partnership with Something Independent’s Trade School and The Commons on Champa. With one workshop offered in the morning and one in the afternoon, there will be two chances to catch the 90-minute workshop, which will introduce the Next 100 Coalition and provide a framework to support organizations and companies in exploring and understanding equity and inclusion. The workshop will provide tools that organizations can use today, tomorrow, and longer term to establish a foundation for an inclusive culture.

All events are open to both Outdoor Retailer attendees and the general public.

The Next 100 Coalition is 50 civil rights, environmental justice, conservation, and community organizations. This group seeks to engage a broad cross section of stakeholders to create a public lands system that better reflects America. The Coalition believes our public lands must reflect the faces of our country, respect all cultures and engage all people.
